The Bell pub rang out with music by Keith Bell, and fellow musicians Ken and Mick, Sunday afternoon and evening.

By cooincidence careful planning, the coordinators of Whitchurch Arts held a meeting in the Bell at the same time.  All of our meetings should be accompanied by such enjoyable live music in the future!

Keep an eye on the Whitchurch forums for postings from a fish about the next musical Bells event.

There will be music at the Bell this Sunday afternoon from around 4pm.

The music is all acoustic (no p.a. system) and ranges from folk to rock, covering all bases in between.

Anyone is free to perform, so if you fancy airing your talents in public, just turn up.

The Bell Inn Pub, located on Bell Street at Bell Yard ~ ring a bell? ~ is ringing in (okay, enough already) the fun with music nights.

November’s music night will be on Sunday the 16th of November at 3:30pm. The legendary Keith Bell (another bell!) is rumoured to be playing.

The cozy atmosphere of the Bell Pub Inn was the place to be for last night’s Whitchurch Arts meeting.  Once again, local artists met to socialize and share creative ideas.  There were new members and many of our regulars were there too; Eric, our treasurer, sent his appologies.

The next meeting of the Whitchurch Arts ~ will be on Thursday, 23rd October, 7:30pm, at The Bell Inn pub. Feel free to bring some representation of your art if you’d like to show it off after the business part of the meeting. As The Bell is a listed building, no modification of the premises can be made to accommodate large works. However there is a small garden – but you’d have to toss your work over the fence as I don’t know anyone who has a key to its gate. Maybe you should just bring a picture of larger works. Or better yet, sing a song about it instead. Be on the look-out for flyers around town – and be sure to tell your artistic friends to come along! And if that wasn’t encouragement enough – you can enjoy a pint (or two) of Goddards Beer! Agenda:
