Get yourself a pumpkin, or a whole patch, and create a wonderful display to light up the town!

Carve interesting shapes, or arrange a few into an artistic pumpkin patch!

You can have fun doing this at home, or join others at the White Hart.

Competition Details

If you decorate pumpkins to display at your house, then fill in the form below and have your creative masterpieces ready for judging by Whitchurch Arts members starting Monday, 25 October 2010 (earlier okay too).

Entry fee is £1 per creative display (more than one per family is encouraged), payable when the judges pop around.

We’ll take a photo of your masterpieces and put it on our website — have a look at all of last year’s entrants HERE, and the winners HERE.

Prizes will be awarded at the Millennium Meadow festivities, being run by Whitchurch Festival committee, which get underway on Saturday, 30th October at 5pm. Will be lots of fun, including fireworks!

White Hart Pumpkin Competition

Separately, the White Hart will have some pumpkins that you can decorate and carve on Saturday, 30 October starting at 3pm. Judging for this separate competition will take place after 4pm, and their owners will be encouraged to parade their pumpkins through town to join the fun at 5pm at the Millennium Meadow.

You do not need to fill in the form here to enter the White Hart competition – just be at the White Hart on the 30th at 3pm.
