The Whitchurch Community Arts Project are offering an opportunity for anyone in Whitchurch to join a free workshop for people who are interested in expressing themselves but, perhaps, think they “can’t do art”. Whatever your views or ideas about art, the workshop will give you an opportunity to explore what it means to be artistic. The workshop, with all materials supplied, aims to give an understanding and experience of the fun and freedom of creativity, in the belief that ‘everyone is creative’.
The workshop will be held at the Gill Nethercott Community Centre, on Saturday January 17, from 10am – 1pm. It is open to individuals or groups; is independent of any art group or society; and involves no commitment outside the day.
The workshop will be run by Corinne Marsh, whose ability lies in how she communicates her belief and passion. The event forms part of the Whitchurch Community Arts Project and is supported by SEEDA, Hampshire County Council, Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council, Whitchurch Town Council and Working 4 Whitchurch.
