Whitchurch Arts is going fishing: there are fish in the River Test all year round and they are quite obvious if you stand on the bridge, but the artists of Whitchurch are not so easily spotted.
So, Whitchurch Arts is putting on its overalls and plunging into the river of creativity to see what artists, and art, we might catch.
We’ll show off our catch at a public show in the Gill Nethercott Centre on Sunday, the 18th of January between 10:30 and 4. Admission is just £1 (free for young fry).
By art, we mean everything artistic: music, paintings, singing, drawings, drama, poetry, books, photographs, performance art, sculptures, … in other words, anything creative!
And by artists, we mean those that are young fry and fully grown.
Perhaps, you are one of those Whitchurch artists swimming around in the cold waters, or maybe you are a seasoned rare breed. If so, then why not take a bite of this opportunity? Just contact us to find out how your art (whatever form that might take) can be caught for this show.

Hi, i’m replying on behalf of my father Brian Ballard who having recently retired has been able to dedicate himself to his art. He is a local artist living in whitchurch and is very interested in supporting your forth coming event by displaying some of his artwork in the Gill Nethercott Center.
