Whitchurch Arts is a forum to further the progression of all creative art forms in the Whitchurch (Hampshire, UK) community.

It’s a non-profit making organisation ~ meaning monies raised at various events, and through grants and donations, are ploughed right back into supporting further artistic events and activities for the benefit of Whitchurch.

The criteria for membership is rather loosely defined as someone having a physical connection with the town’s artistic community.  Examples are: coming to meetings; and taking part in our group’s events and projects.

Whitchurch Arts adopted its constitution at the AGM held on 22 September 2009 in Whitchurch, Hampshire, UK; and its committeeare all elected members.

In 2010, the very first Whitchurch Arts Award was given.

This site is a place to experience local art, to learn who the artists are, to enjoy their events, and to offer up constructive criticism.  You can read about the latest happenings, and our history, too.
